Julie started practicing yoga in 2002 as a way to help alleviate the stress of doing a PhD. After her first class at Moksana in Victoria, BC she was hooked! Upon moving back to St. John’s she found Nova Yoga and knew it was her yoga home. In 2019 she completed her Find Your Flow 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in St. John’s with Helena Butler and Melanie Caines. As an avid mountain biker and geophysicist by day she finds that yoga gives her the opportunity to escape life’s demands, stay limber and maintain a positive disposition. As a teacher Julie likes to focus on body awareness, mental clarity and embracing your true self!
